Just Announced!

The Public Safety Innovation Accelerator program has released an FFO that is currently open and will cover a broad range of research and development objectives across many technical areas, and will be the PSCR’s primary funding opportunity for FY17.  For the full FFO rules and guidelines, please click here .

Overview

PSCR offers funding for external research and development in support of our mission through grants and cooperative agreements, as well as prize competitions and occasionally procurements.  Grants may be available for research, advanced engineering, and occasionally product development. Academic and industrial researchers (in both technology and human/social areas), public safety agencies, and product or system developers are all potential awardees; PSCR strongly encourages potential applicants from all of those sectors to review the grant opportunities on this page.

Grant opportunities are defined by NIST Federal Funding Opportunities (FFOs), which can be found on grants.gov(link is external), and are also summarized below.  Application procedures are described in the individual FFOs; unless the FFO appears on grants.gov and is currently open, you cannot apply to it.
